WHY SHOULD WE USE NATURAL SOAP

Updated: Aug 1

Once, I used to think about why I should pay so much for a bar of natural soap. Which at the supermarket cheaper to buy and its purpose is for cleansing. But after having skin irritations from using commercial soaps. I have been trying natural handmade soaps that I got recommended by a friend then, I have fallen in love with it and my skin came back to healthy skin. I was curious why could it help me so much. I researched, learned and now I become a natural soap lover and maker, I know what safe ingredients are put into and the cost of making it. We sometimes pay for a couple of cups of coffee in a day which is probably more expensive than a bar of soap that could last for several weeks. It's worth for your body’s health.

COMMERCIAL SOAP vs HANDCRAFTED SOAP

COMMERCIAL SOAP

😕Uses ingredients to ensure low manufacturing costs and contains petrochemicals, parabens, phthalates, SLS/SLES; artificial colourants and synthetic fragrances are added which can cause skin irritations.

🙁Glycerin is removed during the creation of soap and sold in secondary products such as body lotions and creams, makes the skin feel dry after use.

😕Artificial preservatives used to harden and prolong the shelf life of soap-may last up to 5 years.

😕Commercial soap produces large amounts of waste and environmental degradation. Most commercial soaps are produced in factories by machines to ensure the least labour.

HANDCRAFTED SOAP

✅Uses natural oils and high-quality ingredients with natural additives; herbs, clay and pure essential oils are added to further skin benefits.

✅Glycerin is naturally made in the creation of soap during saponification, helps keep skin to stay moisturized and feel smooth & moist after use.

✅No artificial ingredients or preservatives used. Natural soap, once hardened and cured will have shelf life equal to the oil with its own shortest-shelf life.

✅Handmade with love and care in small batches to ensure quality and freshness, created by people who consciously care about their craft and environment.
